This script optimizes Cove Data Protection performance by adjusting memory allocation for large backup sets. Increasing DBCacheSize on the local device allows more of the deduplication catalog (backup register) to remain in memory, significantly speeding up backup processing for devices with 20+ million files or 10+ TB of data. The ULQueue buffers data in memory while waiting to upload, potentially improving throughput on high disk I/O devices with high-bandwidth connections.
